About this project
A sample build for a one-person dog grooming salon, showing what the trade's websites need to settle before an owner will pick up the phone.
What a grooming website has to answer
Booking a groomer is a trust decision about a member of the family. Before anybody rings, they want to know what it costs for a dog their size, what actually happens while the dog is there, and whether the person doing it knows what they are doing. Most salon websites answer none of that, and lean on a Facebook page instead.
How this one is set up
Prices on the page, by size
A full price list, broken down by the four size bands with the time each groom takes, plus the add-ons priced separately. No "contact us for a quote", which in this trade reads as "this will be expensive".
A gallery that does the selling
Grooming is visual work, so the photographs are the portfolio. They are properly sized and lazy-loaded rather than dropped in at full camera resolution, which is what usually makes a salon site crawl on a phone.
The reassurance written down
Qualifications, insurance, and the promise that one dog is on the table at a time with no holding pens. These are the things an anxious owner is really asking about, so they sit on the page rather than waiting to be asked.
An enquiry form built around the dog
Name, breed, size and preferred date, not a blank message box. The salon gets enough in the first message to quote and to judge how long the appointment needs.
Built to be found
Static pages that load quickly on a phone, a clear service area in the copy, sensible heading order, and a price list search engines can actually read. For a local trade where nearly every search happens on a phone within a few miles of home, that is most of the battle.
If you groom dogs and need a website
This is the kind of site we build for salons and small local trades: a fixed price agreed up front, live inside a week, and yours outright on final payment. See what a web design package includes, check what it costs, or book a free call.
